This is my favourite time of the year, I love all the festive celebrations and then finishing off with a world wide party on New Year’s Eve! It’s a night to bid farewell to the old and look forward to the new and therefore deserves a high level of glamour.
Prom session is upon us and its a great opportunity to really glam it up for the evening with your pals. Here’s a great article from Makeup Geek on some makeup ideas, I personally love the smokey glitter eye look!
I am a huge fan of illuminators all year round but especially in the summer to give you a gorgeous natural glow without wearing too much makeup.
Over the years I have tried many Waterproof mascaras, from Maybelline to MAC, L’Oreal to Lancôme, Bourjois to Bobbi Brown but for me the product I’ve found works best and also has a great price tag is Max Factors False Lash Waterproof in black.
As a busy Mummy of two gorgeous little girls and a busy freelance makeup artist, time is not something I have in abundance! As all you busy Mums out there know you can guarantee the small amount of time you set aside for yourself each day gets eaten in to either breaking up arguments over Barbie’s, mopping up spilt drinks or giving much needed cuddles when a minor accident takes place (this is quite a regular occurrence with my calamity Jane two year old!).
What a lovely spring/summer day spent in the sunny Surrey countryside! Had the honour of doing the beautiful Hannah’s make up for her big day along with all her bridesmaids. We went for lovely soft spring pinks and soft browns for the make up with an all over beautiful glow.
I thought I’d share an insight, from a makeup point of view, on some of the wonderful weddings I’m lucky enough to play apart in. Not only do I love making people over and seeing the ‘look’ on people’s faces when it all comes together (hair, makeup, outfit), I really love meeting new people and witnessing all the love and joy at a wedding.
Saw this great gallery from Harpers Bazaar on this year’s spring makeup trends and thought I’d share some ideas on using some of these looks on your wedding.
